Granny Blanket Finished!

Well, here is the other blanket I have been working on for the last week.  I've had a nightmare taking photographs this morning, the sun is very strong and my camera can't cope with the contrast.  Anyway, here are some snaps...

I've used the Granny Square pattern that I blogged a couple of months ago.  The throw is now for sale in my Folksy shop.  Feel free to drop by and have a nose around!

Field of Flowers Crochet Throw

I've been busy, busy this week working on three different blankets.  I haven't had time to write out any of my designs or sort out the big mess that is my wool stash!

I've completed a single blanket for Cumbrian Country Crafts.  The colours are gorgeous - I wish I had time to make one just for me!

I've also been working on another Field of Flowers blanket.  This time I've used different colours for the flowers.  The pattern is available to purchase here on my Ravelry store.  It's not quite finished yet but here's a sneak peak....

I'm in the middle of joining the squares of the third blanket so will add pictures soon.  Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Baby Blanket

I've just finished a baby blanket that I've been working on for months.  It's been my "something to do while I think of something to do" project so has taken me a long time to complete.  It's made with different sized squares in bright colours and is for sale in my Folksy shop.

Petal Afghan Block and Tunisian Knit Stitch Scarf

I've made some more of my Petal Afghan Blocks ready for the scarf I'm threatening to make.  I'm using nice bright colours in Patons Fairytale Colour 4 Me wool.  Here's a snap of one...

Petal Afghan Block

I've also been busy creating a scarf / collar using the latest addition to my wool stash.  The pattern uses Tunisian Knit Stitch on a monster sized hook and I'm loving how easily and quickly it's coming together.  Just need some snazzy buttons to bring it all together.  Here is the wool that I'm using...

And here is the scarf / collar starting to come together...

When I get a chance to write the pattern up I'll include a photo tutorial of the Tunisian Knit Stitch too.  I'm having such a fun day!!!!!

Happy New Year! & New Afghan Block Crochet Pattern

Happy New Year to you all!  I hope you all had a wonderful time!

I've been very busy this Christmas and feel exhausted.  I've managed to get a bit of crochet done but not as much as I was hoping.  I did rustle up this afghan block pattern....

The pattern is in my Ravelry store ....
I have plans to make a nice scarf using this square and pure wool in bright colours.

When I haven't been crocheting or stuffing myself with food and booze, I have been drawing Zentangles...Great fun - sooo relaxing!  Here are some snaps I took of them.  I'll scan them properly at some point because some of the details are missing.

I have loads of crochet plans for the new year.  There are three new patterns bumping around in my head just waiting to be tested and I have piles of suitable wool dotted around the place in preparation.  I'm hoping to design a pattern a fortnight!  I'd better get started....
